Community Adoption Center seeks to find loving and secure homes for children as we believe it is every child’s right to be loved, cared for, and respected.
We understand- at Community Adoption Center- the questions and concerns of birthparents and prospective adoptive families.
We are a progressive, state-licensed, private adoption agency that provides adoption services throughout Wisconsin. Our dedicated staff is ready to help you find the answers you need as you go through a process that can be both challenging and rewarding.
We provide a wide range of adoption services that include pregnancy and birth parent counseling, bridge care, home studies, and post-placement supervision/support. While Community Adoption Center is large enough to provide a complete range of adoption services, we are committed to providing an individualized experience for all parties involved in the adoption process.
"We have had a very positive experience with CAC. It is stressful time filled with many unknowns and lots of waiting. The social workers we worked with never made us feel like we were ‘bothering’ them with calls or questions, they were always there to listen, and gave us as much information as they could. We felt they walked us through the different stages of the process and finished their part of the paperwork as soon as we got it to them. We finished our home study in about 2 months and were matched 1 year to the week after entering into the pool. They helped us form a good relationship with our birthmother, who we see 1-2 times a year." L.M
You can trust Community Adoption Center to provide:
Quality Service - We will utilize all resources to ensure that your choices are planned before going forward with the adoption process.
Prompt Response - We will go above and beyond to provide flexible scheduling to meet your needs, as we know there are times when families and birth parents become connected late in the pregnancy, which often necessitates expediting the process.
Personal and Professional Attention - We will pay close attention to every detail, because we want you to feel comfortable with all stages of the adoption process and to remain informed.
"We adopted our daughter from Russia and we could write a book about our adoption experience, so writing a brief testimonial will be a challenge! Our adoption experience was a roller coaster. It was do worth everything we went through. Our daughter is the best thing that ever happened to us! Our coordinator in country and Community Adoption Center were both amazing! We did have several hurdles in country but the support we received was great. Although we has a long adoption process we love the end result. We are working on #2 now with CAC." C.R.
Community Adoption Center has partnerships with
Kissito Healthcare International
Community Adoption Center is extremely fortunate to have recently partnered with Kissito Healthcare International (KHI) in Uganda. With Kissito’s ongoing guidance and generosity, our Milwaukee office, Adoption Choice, Inc. will be able to open a baby’s home in the Bugobero village in the Manafwa District in 2012.
Kissito Healthcare International serves the world’s most vulnerable people with low-cost, high impact healthcare solutions. KHI focuses heavily on maternal and child health. From 20-30 patients seeking care per day less than a year ago, KHI’s Bugobero Health Center is now seeing anywhere from 300-400 patients per day. Even more impressive, Kissito is improving health care delivery systems in Ethiopia as well as Uganda. For more information on this amazing organization please visit:

Adoption Choice, Inc.
In 2009, Community Adoption Center (CAC) was approached by the then Directors of Adoption Choice, Inc. (ACI) looking for opportunities to collaborate. Both CAC and ACI had been well respected licensed adoption agencies in the state of Wisconsin for over 25 years with experienced and knowledgeable staff. Combining resources and staff only made sense. Therefore, in January of 2010 a partnership between the two agencies was developed and continues to flourish. This collaboration allows families and expectant parents to meet with agency staff at the Green Bay, Madison or Milwaukee offices whichever is most convenient; decreased travel costs for families; allows families who are interested in agency infant adoption to be placed in the parent profile listings at each location to maximize the number of birthparents who view their profiles; less experienced social workers and counselors are able to be mentored by those with more experience; and finally combined with contracted social workers in the Central area of the state our agencies together truly cover the entire state of Wisconsin.
